On their latest joint effort, “Forever,” Ciara and Lil Baby promote a long-lasting love. For the romantic tune, the Georgia-born pair combines their distinctive R&B and Hip-Hop genres. In the Taj and Dre-directed music video, “Forever” ushers a couple down the aisle while telling the tale of a couple preparing to start their married life together.
The song’s catchy refrain, “I don’t want it if it isn’t forever,” is sung by the mother of four.
The rapper from “Drip Too Hard” finishes his stanza by saying, “Keep it for me, you gotta try sh*t/ Made a bond, we gotta die with it.”
One of the seven songs on the Princess of Crunk&B’s newest EP, CiCi, which was released on Friday (Aug. 18), is titled “Forever.” The EP also includes Big Freedia and Chris Brown.
“With this project, we really wanted to be deliberate and talked a lot about how important R&B is to us. And when you talk about CiCi, CiCi to me, when you say, ‘That’s CiCi,’ that is some solid core R&B,” the Atlanta native said to Nadeska Alexis on Apple Music 1.
